How to write a Blog

Where do you start?

It is always good to write our thoughts and feelings down, especially if we know that what we write can always encourage, teach, upbuild, inspire and move people to action.

So how do we go about creating a blog that can do these things?

1. Audience

As with anything that we write we must have in mind who our audience is, this is crucial to reaching those that are going to benefit from the information that we are sharing.

2. If we are going to write a regular blog we need to have either a website or a domain where we can access the tools to create a blog.

There are free platforms we can use i.e

You can buy a domain for as little as £0.99p

If you have a website already there should be a function in there for you to host a blog page.

3. Topics

What is your topic? remember to include the date, Authors name, Pictures and videos. Include your main body of text.

4. Shout outs

Once you know who your audience is, you have found your domain and chosen your topic you are good and ready to go. You can work out how often you want to blog .

5. Platforms

Social media

Utilise all of these forums to spread your work and your word.

Happy writing.

  • I just fell into it on my part but what makes you want to tell your story to the world? We all have a story in us and it is an awesome feat if we can get pen to paper and make the intangible become the tangible. What keeps you going and how far do you feel that you have come? Always look back to see how far out from the shore you are and if you're in deep water then wow you are making waves to accomplishing finishing your journey to the other side. Keep on going
  • Look at the picture and write an engaging introduction to draw your reader in. When writing we want to write a first liner that will capture your audience, in turn you then want to write an intriguing paragraph that really engages them and makes them want to continue reading. Try this picture lets have fun and be as creative as you can. Happy writing
